Okay, hi! So this is just a rough outline post. I am leaning towards doing separate zines, each issue focusing on a certain topic. I am thinking of first focusing on being open about sex and not ashamed of it and seeing the beauty in good, consensual sex! As far as a medium goes, I am looking for anything 2D (drawings, paintings, photos, writings, collages, whatever)! You can look at my latest work on flickr if you want to see what I am doing. It is just a snippet of my work though and I have only just been starting working with sex positivity so I don't have much work to show yet! I hope to take this much further and educate people on these subjects and distribute your images and work online and off! As far as colors go and things, I can give you suggestions as we go further on! But what I am thinking of doing next is just having you go wild with whatever you would like to do relating to the subject!
-Women's sexuality (enjoying sex, experimentation, not being ashamed, etc.)
-Info on bodies (how our bodies work n stuff)
-Body acceptance/body positivity
-Defining consent/educating victims/future victims to never blame themselves / educating people on the issues of how horrible/common sexual violence is
-Exploring sex in a non taboo setting, being open about sex, seeing the beauty in good, consensual sex
-Breaking gender stereotypes
-Anything else sex/gender related! (Let me know if there is something you would like to focus on)
Okay! So that is all for now! I will keep you guys updated with my sketches and ideas and brainstorming as this progresses!
